I'm in Chicago right now!

I am currently waiting to board flight 845 to New York. It's been a loooooooooooong day. Thinking I would sleep on the plane the whole way to Chicago I decided to stay awake all night. I'm actually feeling alright, but I can feel the sleep deprivation and insanity creep in. The reason I wanted to mention all this is because Luc and I are flying with free tickets earned by my southwest chase credit card. oh yeah!! Unfortunately we are definitely paying for the inconvenience. Our flight to New York only mentioned the lay over in Chicago and neglected to reveal the flight path to Los Angeles then Chicago. Once we landed in L.A. the captain got on the microphone and said if your destination is Chicago stay on the plane, the next thing I knew Luc is telling me to get off the plane. Being in the state of delirium I got off the plane completely confused and followed his lead. We had to deplane and re board another to catch our flight to Chicago. It's 3:34 here, and will begin our departure at 6:45. Ugggg! I can't wait to get to New York!!!!

The 101

When my boyfriend Lucien arrived at San Francisco airport from Germany, I picked him up and we took a trip down the coast. I had contacted some friends down south to let them know I wanted to see them before I move to Europe. When we arrived in Long Beach Luc passed out from his long ass journey.

The next day Luc went to Orange to visit his Chapman friends meanwhile Mary and I had a sister date. I asked her what she wanted to do, she replied, "I'm hungry." I responded with the most obvious solution, "Let's get corn dogs!" Mary and I share a strange obsession with Disneyland, we entered California Adventure with our awesome season passes and went on a mission to satisfy our hunger. We didn't ride a single attraction we just went to the park for some corn dogs and root beer floats. After our delicious lunch we decided to drive to the observatory at Griffith Park, a first for the both of us.

My visit was short but sweet. I managed to spend time with family in Burbank with my cousins Tina, John, and their baby Jackson, great friends from high school living the dream in Los Angeles Blake and Kyle (premiering on Comedy Central this year) I even drove down to San Diego and spent the day at Ocean Beach with my peeps from SDSU Bobby, Chris, Dana and Phil.

Luc and I returned today to have dinner with my mommy, my best friend Shenine and her family at Benihana. Shenine told the employees that it was my birthday so we could get the cool picture afterwards!

I'm pretty tired but it was all worth it. I love my friends and family!

San Fancisco Sisters

The day was a perfect one for sister time.

My sister Beth drove from Bodega Bay to meet me in San Francisco to spend the day with our older sister Catherine and her son Linden.

Linden took a nap when we arrived so Beth and I headed
to the golden gate park to play some good ol' catch.

Then we moved on to the Cliff House followed by a slight hike to the Legion of Honor (a personal accomplishment for Beth) Since the museum was closing the nice gentlemen at the front desk said, "hello ladies, it's on the house, you have a half hour".
When Beth and I returned to Cathy's we prepared a delicious dinner... homemade butternut squash ravioli. Yummy!!!
